Will Larson, son of Bill Larson - President of Pala International, has been a long-time passionate collector. Early on he developed a love for Japan and has made many solo trips there in his young career as a mineral dealer. Over the years Will has put together a collection of Japanese minerals that is rumored to be one of the best collections from this part of the world.
We are extremely excited to be a part of this major event in Tucson in 2010. For the first time in the history of the Tucson show, a spotlight is being placed on the incredibly talented mineral artists of our hobby. These people work diligently in artistically reproducing these minerals we all love so much and it's about time they got their recognition.
Wayne Sorensen has become incredibly well known for his impeccable taste in acquiring some of the finest mineral specimens we've seen. This February, Wayne will put on exhibit some of these outstanding specimens from his personal collection.
